T&W submit evidence to NPCU re.Station Rd Outline Application TWC/2011/0871

In an email of 20 December 2013, T&W referred the application to the NPCU. In the email T&W said that they did not think the application fell within the rules for consideration for call-in but were submitting following a letter from the NPCU issued in July 2012.

As is now the norm, T&W Plans Committee voted on political party lines last night to support the application to build 350 homes etc. on the land either side of Station Road.
As the application is the last of the 3 large housing applications that Secretary of State Eric Pickles wanted to review before T&W approval became final, SNC have written to the NPCU, who represent Eric Pickles on these matters, to urge that Eric Pickles calls-in the application so that the huge reduction in the housing land supply figure is objectively examined by an Inspector at a Planning Inquiry.
SNC have also been in contact with Mr. Mark Pritchard MP, to urge that he writes to Eric Pickles in support of the call-in request from SNC.
