Tom Hayek ,Programme Manager for the current Nature Improvement Area and Landscape Partnership Scheme projects will provide a presentation on “What next for the Meres & Mosses?”
The Meres & Mosses landscape of Cheshire, north Shropshire and west Staffordshire has been the focus of a number of conservation initiatives over the last 5 years or so. Tom will look at the impact that these have had and what is next for this unique part of the British landscape which includes sites such as at Aqualate.
The presentation is being hosted by Newport and District Civic Society on Tuesday 27 January 2015, commencing at 7.30 pm at St. Andrew’s Church Hall, Church Aston TF10 9JG. Non-members are very welcome to attend at a small charge of £2 which includes for refreshments after the presentation.
