“SAVING £ AND SAVING THE PLANET”

We are all feeling the impact of soaring fuel prices and hyper inflation – well perhaps some of the solutions lie in our own hands ! Newport Civic Society are having a joint meeting with “SUSTAINABLE NEWPORT” to hear about ways in which we can all save money. Many actions are eco-friendly hence ,if implemented, will make a contribution to saving the planet – every little bit helps !
The meeting will be a short presentation followed by an interactive session where ideas/tips from the audience will be discussed and welcomed. All this will take place in the convivial atmosphere of The Pavilion at Newport Cricket Club [turn the heating down at home for a couple of hours] – Free admission – the Bar is open but not free. Car parking is available on site next to The Pavilion.
