Prior to submitting the bid a further ‘open’ consultation event is planned for 6.30 pm on Wednesday 13th August in the Susan Miles Room at Cosy Hall.
Katie Foster (nationally recognised tourism & leisure expert) and Mike Atherton (Town Team Manager) will provide a short presentation followed by open discussion on bid content, design processes, and delivery arrangements.
An invitation to attend is extendeded to all Civic Society members and to any other persons that members consider may have an interest. Especially keen to engage younger people and those with a longer-term stake in Newport through this event.
