Mayor of Newport -Cllr. Peter Scott speaking at 29th October 2019 meeting

The Newport & District Civic Society will be holding its second meeting on the 29th October where our re-elected Mayor Peter Scott will enlighten us on the role and authority of a Town Council mayor within a unitary council structure. Peter will finish the evening by taking questions from the audience, so do not miss the chance to hear the views of your Mayor in an open forum.
The event will be held at St. Andrews Church Hall in Church Aston TF10 9JG at 7.30pm, everyone is welcome and as usual entry is free to members with a charge of £2 to non-members to cover refreshments and hall costs.
