Newport Society will be hosting Yvonne Tweddle, Marketing Manager for Jupiter Marketing Ltd, at its meeting on Tuesday 31st January 2017. Yvonne will speak about the how the business was established, the markets it operates in and its plans for the future.
The business, which is based in Newport on the Audley Avenue Industrial Estate, employs more than 160 staff, which makes it the primary private sector employer in Newport. It has developed a local skills base and maintains strong associations with the local area. Concerns about the location of the business were removed when Telford and Wrekin Council recently purchased the industrial estate from St. Modwen, with the intention to invest in upgrading and developing the estate thus securing jobs in Newport for the future.
The event takes place on Tuesday 31st January 2017 at 7.30pm in St Andrew’s Church Hall, Church Aston TF10 9JG.
