Crisis Help for those in Need

Jake Bennett, Coordinator of the Telford Crisis Network, will give a presentation on Tuesday 26 November 2013, explaining the work of the
Crisis Network, it’s achievements across the Borough, some gaps in it’s delivery and how it hopes to strengthen community cohesion in 2014.
Telford Crisis Network includes many community agencies, housing providers, private enterprises, health and education providers,
national charities and local authorities to provide a coordinated and timely response that delivers help and support when it’s most needed.
The vision of the Crisis Network is that “no-one in the Borough of Telford & Wrekin need go without the basic essentials to keep themselves and their families
sheltered, fed, clean, clothed, warm and healthy”.
The Crisis Network project is evolving to encourage community involvement within the Network in a structured and coordinated way that enhances delivery of crisis support
services locally.
The event, sponsored by Newport and District Civic Society, is being held on Tuesday 26 November 2013, commencing at 7.30 pm, at St.Andrew’s Church Hall, Church Aston TF10 9JG. Non-members are very welcome to attend at a small admission charge of £2.
